R44 TIME BUILDER

Each weekend there are two 450 nautical mile roundtrips of 4 to 5 hours flight time per trip available at a reduced rate of $299.00 per flight hour to include instructor and fuel. You will fly with a CFII.

• Day/Night conditions
• Instrument/hood time
• Instrument Approaches
• IFR X-Country
• X-country
• Managing the Florida thunderstorms
• Enroute weather and use of GPS based Nexrad Radar, Metars, TAFs
• Garmin GPS Navigation - GNS430 and GPS396
• Off airport landings day and night
• Low/High altitude flying – Break out of the 500’ rut and climb up above the clouds….cooler & faster!

 PREREQUISITES

Pilots must possess a current U.S. FAA Helicopter Private Pilot Certificate or higher, with appropriate ratings or the equivalent licenses issued by a foreign military or regulatory agency.

Requires a deposit of $1000.00 to reserve your specific weekend. Balance due prior to any flights.

Must be available to fly between noon on Thursday until 8 pm on Monday. Take off time and day varies between these days.

Must provide seven day notice of any cancellation of reserved time or subject to a $250.00 cancellation fee if seven day notice is not provided.

Must enroll in the school pay enrollment fee and comply with any applicable TSA or VISA requirements.

Time may ONLY be used on these trips however if trip is cancelled by us due to weather, maintenance or other unforeseen issues then every effort will be made to provide you with the time during your stay.

To reserve your weekend fill out the online enrollment form along with your requested date or contact us via phone or email. Once an available date is chosen you will have five days to secure it by deposit. YOUR DATE IS NOT SECURED UNTIL ENROLLMENT AND DEPOSIT RECEIVED!

If you cancel your reservation seven days or more in advance then the basic refund policy of the school applies. You will be refunded the full amount deposited less the enrollment fee.

*Please note fuel surcharge fee may be in effect when you fly and is based on the retail fuel price of Florida Airmotive FBO at our airport LNA and is compared to the index price of $5.22 per gal.
